Spoon 2011, 12 mins A car accident left Richard physically scarred. But it is the mental scarring that threatens to ruin his relationship. The winning film in the 2011 Attic Studio Film Festival, the short was made under a film challenge where each script had to include the theme of ‘spoon’. The entire film was shot in Cassidy’s Georgian house in Drogheda, using different rooms as different locations. Cassidy wrote the film on a Saturday evening and it was in the can 24 hours later thanks to a huge collaborative effort from volunteer actors and crew.
